Houston Rockets Uniform for Nike Basketball
While working on the Nike Global Basketball Concept team I was given the chance to design a uniform for the Houston Rockets to celebrate the Lunar Chinese New Year. As a first generation American born to a family of Chinese immigrants, this was such an incredible honor and privilege.
The design reimagines the vintage Rocket's logo as a fire-breathing rocket/dragon, with hidden details that includes the word luck (as seen on the jacket), an ancient Chinese cloud pattern representing mobility and a nod to the mandarin collar.
